Gregory Ranieri was General Manager/Vice President for Delaware Valley Tennis Academy between
1983-87 and eventually redesigned the Academy in 1991. During his years with the Academy, he has
worked privately and in groups with some very successful MSTA and Nationally ranked juniors:
Paul Mirabello:146 National ranking in Boys 14s, 1999;
Molly Swartz:Top 10 MSTA Girls 16s and 18's, Zonal participant, 1999;
Jonathan Ounjian:Nationally Ranked in Boys 14s & 16s;
Michael Lang:#1 Nationally in Boys 14s & 16s, Scholarship to University of Georgia 1998; #1 at University of Miami
Billy Jonas:Top 20 MSTA junior, #1 at Kenyon College, All-American 1992;
Lars Beck:Top 5 MSTA junior, National Ranking, Singles player at Duke University;
David DiLucia:#1 MSTA Boys 12s - 18s, #4 Nationally, #1 singles player at Notre Dame, All-American in 1990, '91, '92, NCAA Singles Champion 1992, turned professional in June of 1992.

David Blumeris is Director of Men's
Tennis/Manager for DVTA. David grew up in Zimbabwe, Africa where he played junior Davis Cup. David
came to this country attending Virginia Commonwealth University on scholarship. He later transferred
to Eastern College where he was undefeated at the #1 singles position. David currently works with
many up and coming junior stars.

Emma Stafiniak is the Director of Special
Events for the Academy. Emma graduated from Temple University with a degree in sports management.
She was also a member of the varsity tennis team playing the #2 singles position for 4 years. She is
originally from England where she achieved a top 10 ranking in juniors.
Randy Fox randy@dvta.com
Randy Fox is a graduate of Eastern
College with a degree in Accounting. Randy played #1 singles for Eastern for 2 years and made the
all-conference team all 4 years.
John Philip

Played tennis at Washington University and later transferred to Webster University where he played #4 singles. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration. JP represented Antiqua's Davis Cup Team between 1989 and 1992.
Wayne Helms

Elite Training Owner Wayne Helms has extensive experience with maximizing the sport performance of athletes of all ages and abilities. Wayne's interest in becoming sports performance coach/trainer began during his high school career at Upper Darby High School where he excelled as a wrestler while participating in many other sports.
Wayne's love for wrestling and in helping athletes brought him back to Upper Darby High School where he worked as Assistant Wrestling Coach as well as the team's Strength and Conditioning Coach where he helped to lead the program to six consecutive Central League Championships. Also, Wayne helped in developing six PA state medalists, 3 semi-finalists, a PA State Champion, a High School All-American and four (4) Division I Wrestlers and an Olympic Wrestling training partner.
Wayne Helms and Elite Training have been named as Speed & Agility, Strength and Conditioning consultants to the Widener University Football Program.
Helms has trained himself and many others to complete in triathlons (Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon), road races and distance cycling events (The Irish Pub's Tour da Shore).
Among Wayne's training success stories are State Wrestling Medalists, Division One Wrestlers, Division One Lacrosse Players, Numerous Nationally Ranked Tennis Players and Nationally Ranked Swimmers. As well as everyday people that just want to feel good and get fit.
Willie Blumeris willie@dvta.com
Coached tennis for 25 years in Zimbabwe, Africa. Willie was a non-playing coach for the Zimbabwe Davis Cup Team from 1990 to 1992. Willie is our Junior Development Director.
Phillip Hahn Phil@dvta.com
Phil is a product of the academy. He had worked part-time during
6–summers and has been full time for the past 2-years. Many young players are working out with Phil and he is our matchplay maestro.
Billy Fleegler Billy@dvta.com
Billy had been a part-timer for 2-summers and is now a full time coach. His background includes successful high school and college coaching positions and a personal tennis training coach. Billy played varsity tennis and graduated from AlBright College with a degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Sport Psych.
Bob Howard Bob@dvta.com
Bob has worked for the academy for the past three years having previously worked for the Arther Ashe program in Philadelphia. Bob played his college tennis at Philadelphia Community College.

Tammie Samborski Tammie@dvta.com
Tammie Samborski: 8 years of teaching experience. Received a 4-year scholarship and played #1 singles and doubles at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Division 1 University. Completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a sub major in Exercise and Fitness.
