Testimonials

My children and I have been taking lessons and clinics at DVTA for many years now. We are completely addicted to the pros and their programs. I can remember when I first started playing in a clinic with David and being amazed at how I received such personal attention in a clinic setting. I felt as though I was getting a private lesson. Even at team practices, Emma, who runs the team, roams all the courts to give us more input and encouragement. Each one of my children takes lessons from a different pro…Willie, Phil and Bob. I can’t say enough about their values and quality of expertise. Their energy and enthusiasm for the sport is contagious. They develop the best techniques and confidence in their students and make it all so much fun.

DVTA has been like a home for me for the past two years. I have enjoyed DVTA so much that I would rather be there than at home. The coaches knowledge and determination to make me a better tennis player has also turned me into a well-rounded person. Their constant motivation makes me want to push myself to limits that I never knew I had. Not only has the DVTA family brought me in under their wing, but also has helped me to accomplish every goal that I never imagined would be possible. I owe EVERYTHING to DVTA and all of my coaches there. They’re not just my coaches, but my friends and family. Thank you.

Our son, William began playing tennis at DVTA at the tender age of four.  We knew very little about the program, at that time, nor did we know if this was a sport he would embrace with any enthusiasm.  However, friends recommended the Pee Wee program as a good starting point, so we decided to give it a try.

Nearly eight years later, our son is a successful tournament player at both the district and sectional levels.  This summer, he even had his first taste of national competition playing as an alternate in team zonals.  Wherever we travel, we are asked by pros, parents, even photographers alike, where he learned his technique.  We are often complimented on his form and are proud to proclaim that he was taught to play by "Delaware Valley Tennis Academy in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania!!"

More than his success in competition, the staff at DVTA had always made our son's physical and emotional well-being their first priority.  Of utmost importance was that he continue to have "fun" in this sport that he will hopefully continue to enjoy well into his later years.  William's principal coach has always been the amazing David Blumeris, but he has worked with every pro there throughout his young life, and we consider all the pros and staff to be members of our extended family.

You are the best, DVTA!!!!
