10 & Under Participants
Drop Off 2019 -Campers should report to West Campus Courts at Villanova University every morning at 8:45am and check in at the trailer each morning. Villanova University West Campus courts are located across the street from the Villanova Law School. Coming from Lancaster Avenue 308 N Spring Mill Road, Villanove, PA): Turn onto Spring Mill Road (Route 320 North), over Paoli/Thorndale bridge making a sharp right at base of bridge following signs to West Campus. Travel to guard house. From Montgomery Avenue: Spring Mill Road (Route 320 South) passing County Line Road. Look for West Campus baring right to guard house where guard will give you easy directions to courts. Report to DVTA trailer to check in each morning.
Important August 19-23 Enrollees – This week of camp will be indoor at DVTA, 4 N. Warner, Bryn Mawr
WHAT TO PACK– There will be two snack periods each day as well as swimming, outdoor water fun, and outdoor activities throughout the week. Please pack (2) snacks (NO nuts allowed), a water bottle/Gatorade and sunscreen for your camper(s) everyday as well as a extra set of clothing.
LUNCH– Lunch is included in a full day and it will be provided each day by Villanova Dining services. The Villanova cafeteria is air-condiioned, nut free and has gluten free options.
FYI: Villanova Courts have water sprayers and a air-conditioned trailer on site to help the campers cool off.
POOL (Full Day Only)- If a camper would like to swim on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 1-hour, the camper should bring a bathing suit, sun block, flip flops and a towel. The pool has 2-certified lifeguards and 2- DVTA counselor’s supervising. A Swim test will be performed the first day.
CAMP LESSONS(Full Day/Full Week Only)- 1/2 hour lessons will be scheduled during camp hours. If a student would like an additional lesson either before or after camp, the costs are: 1/2 hour: $45, 1-hour: $90. This is only available during the week a student is signed up for camp.
PICK UP– Campers should plan to depart from camp promptly at 3:00pm. If you are 1/2 day, the 11:30 pick up is the proper time.
Extended Day – We do have extended day at a cost of $100 per week per family/week. Juniors will be supervised in our air-conditioned trailer up to 6:00pm. There are no activities scheduled as it is a time for our campers to relax and read or just to recover from 6-hours of tennis and activities. It is recommended to bring an after camp snack and drink.
Intermediate (Middle/High School), High Performance Tennis Camp
Drop Off 2019: Villanova University Tennis Complex located on West Campus (Across from Villanova Law School (find directions – Facilities’ Site) Villanova Directions, enter on Spring Mill Road) at 8:45am unless your child has a camp lesson, then the drop off is at 8:30am. Please check in at the trailer each morning.

Pass Main Entrance to University on your left and travel to next Entrance of the dormitory parking lot. Park straight ahead or a little to the left. The courts are to the left of the soccer field below. NO AFTER CARE AVAILABLE
CAMP LESSONS(Full Day/Full Week Only)- 1/2 hour lessons will be scheduled the weekend before and parents will be informed via email. The lessons will be scheduled either at 8:30am or 12:30pm. If a student would like an additional lesson either before or after camp, the costs are: 1/2 hour: $45, 1-hour: $90. This is only available during the week a student is signed up for camp.
RAINY DAYS– During rainy days, please drop your camper off at the Villanova University location at 8:45am, unless an email informs you to drop off at one of our indoor facilities.
WHAT TO PACK– Breaks will be provided throughout the day. Please pack sports friendly snacks (no nuts allowed) and sports drinks (cooler on the court to keep them cold) to hydrate your camper as well as sunscreen and sun gear. Pack extra shirt and socks. (Ice, ice-water, water spritzer and shade is available on the courts, as well as an air-conditioned trailer to prevent over-heating).
FYI: Villanova Courts have water sprayers to help the campers cool off and an air-conditioned trailer as well.
LUNCH– Lunch is included in an air-conditioned lunch room and it will be provided each day by Villanova Dining services. Gluten free options are available. The cafeteria is a nut-free environment.
