“Our son, William began playing tennis at DVTA at the tender age of four. We knew very little about the program, at that time, nor did we know if this was a sport he would embrace with any enthusiasm. However, friends recommended the Pee Wee program as a good starting point, so we decided to give it a try.

Nearly eight years later, our son is a successful tournament player at both the district and sectional levels. This summer, he even had his first taste of national competition playing as an alternate in team zonals. Wherever we travel, we are asked by pros, parents, even photographers alike, where he learned his technique. We are often complimented on his form and are proud to proclaim that he was taught to play by "Delaware Valley Tennis Academy in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania!!"

More than his success in competition, the staff at DVTA had always made our son's physical and emotional well-being their first priority. Of utmost importance was that he continue to have "fun" in this sport that he will hopefully continue to enjoy well into his later years. William's principal coach has always been the amazing David Blumeris, but he has worked with every pro there throughout his young life, and we consider all the pros and staff to be members of our extended family.
